The New Milwaukee County Zoo ~ 1961-1984

| In 1975, approximately 5,000 school children had made special education trips to the Zoo. This was also the year that Zoo Pride came into existence. Organized as an auxiliary group of the Zoological Society of Milwaukee County, Zoo Pride members served as goodwill ambassadors at the Zoo and in the community. Since 1975, Zoo Pride members have donated countess hours of hard work and dedication to the Milwaukee County Zoo. | ||
